1. To block off a rear porch with railings.

2. To remove the turf in a front lawn and create a wildflower garden.

1. The lawn was very big and the hire company did not have any turf cutters available so all work had to be done by hand.

2. The staircase was very old and dangerous.

3. There was a wasp nest in furniture on the porch.

4. There were only 2 weeks to spend on the project.

1. I removed the existing balustrades and railings from the staircase to make railings to block off the porch.

2. Instead of digging out the turf, I used the stairs from the staircase, the posts holding it up and the wooden balustrades to make a large raised bed.
